Sara had the day off. She decided to take a walk on this crisp, fall day. She pulled on a light zip-up sweater, and her hat, and stepped out of her home. She looked down the sidewalk. She never really liked living in a city. She bared through it, though. She looked down the sidewalk one more time and stepped off the porch.
Sara started down the narrow sidewalk of the heart of the city. She looked at her feet as she walked. One. Two. One. Two. She counted each step that she took. Being deeply involved in the Theater, she thought of a two beat song, and closed her eyes for a few seconds. There was nobody on the street, as far as she could see, so she decided to dance down the sidewalk. She had a play to go to that night, but she had nothing for the rest of the day.
Thinking while spinning down the side street, she decided that she would spend most of the day at the library, hoping that something else would come up. She's spent most of her days off at the library, and needed a change. She didn't want to spend it at her house, it got rather lonely. She continued down the street, walking about now, instead of dancing. She looked over her shoulder to make sure that nobody was there still. Not a sign of life. If it wasn't for the faint sounds of church bells in the distance, she would have thought that she was alone in the world. She started to sing, softly.
"But then I feel it move me
Like a burning deep inside
Something bursting me wide open impossible to hide
And suddenly I'm flying, flying like a bird
Like electricity, electricity
Sparks inside of me
And I'm free I'm free
Electricity, sparks inside of me
And I'm free, I'm free
I'm free. Free I'm free"
She stopped and continued down the street, in beat the the song that she had singing, which she was now humming, quietly.
